While on our family vacation with our three daughters at Secrets Playa Mujeres in May 2016, one of my daughter's was drugged at the pool bar, taken to her room, and sexually assaulted. Her fiance walked in on the assault and caught the man red handed. The resort handled it well while we were in Mexico, especially after hearing about some of the stories on this site, but once we returned stateside, the resort and AM Resorts (the parent company) could have cared less. Until reading about other's experiences, we thought this was an isolated incident. It can happen to you, no matter if you're with your parents, or if you think you've done everything right. Thank you for this site and for bringing awareness to the dark side of traveling to Cancun.
