I was in Cancun for the second time when my son graduated in 2008. It was even worse being there at that time. They are so dishonest at the resorts charged our group large sums of money claiming we broke things in our rooms, which we didnt, and for room calls. They claimed I owed them $700 at checkout. One of the nightclubs offered free marijuana in the restrooms and the taxi cab driver offered us cocaine or marijuana for a price. My son was very sick from whatever he was served but was ok. We were repeated ripped off. Im so sorry for the people that lost loved ones there. I will never go back and would advise anyone to do the same. Its definitely not a place to bring your children.
