My husband and I went to Cancun- Isla Mujerres Feb 2017. I witnessed ( more than once) the ' seething hatred' of workers in the tourist trade/ grocery store workers etc. Btw- I am no snob or racist - In fact, I am visibly Italian. ( not that this should bear on anything) ((((Wake up people!))) YES, these folks HATE your guts! I met one older man who said he was an ' christo evangelisto' ( Christian Evangelical) He actually was genuine and kind. One only, folks..The smiles and pleasantries are to get your tip only. When will you realize this reality and visit- (support) the Hawaiian Isles instead? How about Canada in the summer time? Your dollar is strong there as well.
